How did you decide on the max speed?

The Model One's top speed - 15.5 mph (25 kmh) - is the average bicycling speed. When determining our maximum speed, we took this statistic into consideration in conjunction with our scooter's weight and battery size. An additional determining factor in the calibration of our top speed included the speed and capabilities regulations that govern the classification of motor vehicles in most countries to which we ship.
